At the same time subtle, and not so subtle changes to eye shaders. The old eye shader relied on environment giving enough reflections to make the eyes look soulful, but there were a lot of cases where it just didn’t work because there wasn’t any bright sources to reflect ^^
Technically it is really simple, it’s just an emissive texture overlaid on top of the eyes’ own emission. The reflection texture made for the effect (not the one above, but the one above it) is just a simple black cubemap with few “glowing pixels” on it, but the change is pretty huge in the end.
Behold the old soulless eyes because there’s nothing to reflect in the scene. Not puppy’s fault :<
Also, I finally redid the “toned cat” textures. Originally “muscularity” was just blended on top of everything else and the quality wasn’t particularly great due to it, but Timathi has finally gotten the love she needed :3
